Jon is a highly experienced young coach who currently works as the Academy Coach Development Officer at Worcester Warriors. He also boasts a wealth of experience from previous coaching roles with Northampton Old Scouts and Worcester Wanderers, as well as being and RFU Coaching Developer and Mentor.

“We think Jon will be a great fit for our group and his ethos matches that of the whole club. He is excited about developing young players, and creating an environment where people and players can thrive. Both of these elements are crucial to us a Lichfield Rugby Club.” said Director of Rugby, Dan Hemingway. “ We look forward to what Jon can bring, not only to the senior men’s section, but to the club as a whole.”

Jon’s main responsibilities will be as the Backs Coach, and will work alongside Dan in continued development of the clubs playing style and principles. Jon will take up his post once the RFU release a start date for the 2020/21 season, following the easing of COVID-19 restrictions.
