It is with great sadness that we have to report the terrible news that John Bartlett passed away earlier today (15 August). John was Club Captain in the late fifties, a Life Member and a true stalwart of Lichfield Rugby Club for seven decades or more; filling with distinction just about every role in the club in both playing and administrative capacities.

Thank you, John, for everything you did for Lichfield Rugby. You will be sorely missed by everyone at the club. Our deepest condolences go to wife Rita and all of John’s family.
